Upminster gained their second win of the season against Waltham Forest 2s.
The home side controlled the match from start to finish, and their profligacy in front of goal prevented the score line from being far greater.
Goals 3 far post tap ins from Mike Scrivener were added to by a rocket from Alexandrou from a tight angle (when he should have passed) and MOTM Jack Payne.
As always, the real stars were the defence, and on the Away side’s rare forays into the Upminster half they were held at bay by the home side’s back line featuring Dave Robeson and defender of the match Chris Abrey.
Upminster travel to Brentwood for a local derby on Saturday looking to cement their place in mid table.
