The junior section is a critical part of the club and we see it as a big part of the future UHC. We have been hugely successful over the last few season with our U12 Boys narrowly beaten in the Tier 1 East Regional Final in 2024/2025 season. We have multiple teams across U8’s, U10’s and U12’s age groups and offer 2 hours of training per week for each age group. This ensures that youngsters are able to take the skills they have learnt and utilise this within a competitive environment.

Our U14, U16 & U18s teams compete in England Hockey Junior competitions ensuring competitive hockey for those within these age groups.

Overall, our junior sections are seeing a year on year growth in numbers which has been through the efforts of coaches, team managers, volunteers and parents. We currently have over 250+ junior members from U8s to U18s.
