I hope you are well.
As I am sure some of you will have seen, the East League’s have taken the decision to cancel the league season with immediate effect. This will affect all Upminster sides and no further league hockey will take place for the 2020/2021 season. The new League season, under the new England Hockey structure is scheduled to start in September 2021
While the above is clearly disappointing, we hope to offer our members some hockey in the coming weeks. Many thanks for those who completed the short survey recently distributed to members, which indicated a strong desire to return to playing. With this in mind we are currently awaiting confirmation from Coopers for when hockey may recommence and we intend to offer our members training and interclub hockey. When we have clarity from Coopers on when this might be able to happen we will send further information.
Finally, we have also unfortunately taken the decision to cancel the Easter 7’s.
