Return to Hockey: This Weekend

With the restrictions due to be lifted this week, and Havering returning to tier 2 we are able to commence competitive hockey and training again.

Matches will take place on Saturday 5th December as originally detailed in your fixture card (providing your opposition has access to their pitch). Training sessions will also re-start this week unless Coopers advise us otherwise.

East League are also recommending we play the 1st 2 games lost in November on Saturday 12th and 19th, so we are working with Coopers and Emerson Park to secure the pitch slots we need.

The league is also being extended into April to catch up with the other games lost in November, so again we are working with Coopers and Emerson to secure the slots we need.

As long as the weather does not cause problems and restrictions are not tightened, we may yet get a full league season of hockey completed!

Remember, the restrictions still apply relating to signing in via the barcode at the pitch, one way in and out of the cage and everyone on site at Coopers has to wear a mask.

Good luck in your games and great to be back in the Blue & Gold again.
