Jack and Kerry here welcoming you back for another Hockey season at UHC!
This season is super special as we are celebrating our 125 year anniversary. We have lots of exciting events planned to mark this fabulous milestone, so make sure to keep your Teamo notifications turned on at all times!
Pre-season training is underway, and we are excited to start our first league games on Saturday,16th September 2023. We are thrilled to welcome Aidrian Palmer to the club as Men’s 1st Team Performance Coach. Along with returning Ladies Performance Coach, Tendo Kimuli, we feel that UHC now has an excellent coaching offering and we are very excited to see how our sides perform this year under their management.
We have a few things to remind you of before the season begins. Firstly, please can you all ensure you are signed up to the GMS system. We cannot select you if you are not signed up to this system! You can sign up by following the link below.

Secondly, please make sure you update your availability on the Teamo App so that our Captains are informed of who is available to play every week. We appreciate that plans can change, so always ensure your Captain is informed of your availability as soon as possible. This helps us when we are selecting the teams every week and will stop us from selecting a player who may not be available.
Lastly, at UHC we are known for our friendly & fun atmosphere, and we encourage all members to attend mid-week training sessions. Where possible, after match teas should also be attended at both home and away fixtures. It is a great way to relax and socialise after a game. We also ask all members to show respect to each other, captains, opposition players, umpires and to the wider hockey community at all times.
