As we move into October, it’s been a really busy start to the season!
A fantastic result for the Men’s 1st Team last weekend, with an impressive 14-1 win! Our Women’s 1st and 2nd Teams are also both still unbeaten. A big thank you to all the Captains, Umpires and our Fixtures Secretary, who have managed to get 15 teams out playing on a Saturday – which, in my memory, is a first for the club! That takes a huge amount of organisation behind the scenes, so it’s really appreciated.
We also had our opening Junior fixtures last Sunday, with teams playing across most of Essex, as well as hosting a home tournament at Coopers. These events take a huge amount of planning and coordination, so another big thank you to everyone involved in making them happen.
