Good Evening All
As most of you will be aware it has been a long standing tradition of Upminster Hockey Club to host the Chairman’s vs President’s Hockey match on Boxing Day in Upminster Park, which is followed by drinks in the club with friends and family. It was hoped that we might be able to stage something at the club this year but following yesterday’s announcement, with Havering being placed in Tier 3 the club have made the decision to cancel this match. We hope that our members will agree with the committee’s decision and hope this event will take place again in 2021.
Clearly we hope to return to hockey in January and we will keep members informed as to when and how we are going to be able to resume playing.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in 2021.
