World Cup Predictor game
First of all we would like to congratulate our Junior member Thomas Nutt who won the World Cup Predictor game which was run by Don Triggs so a big thanks as 50% of funds raised would be shared across the Hockey & Cricket Clubs. Thomas managed to beat 100+ other players to take 1st place after navigating his way through the tournament and successfully predicted Argentina to take home the trophy.
Training returns
Training returns this Wednesday 4th January at 18.00-21.30 and also Sunday 8th January at 9.30-12.30. There have also been fixtures rearranged for this Saturday 7th January so please ensure that your availability has been updated via Teamo as well as all future fixtures to help your captains understand the availability.
Social Events
A reminder that our clubhouse will be open this Saturday and every Saturday throughout the season. We also run fundraising events once a month so please take note of these Social Dates and please mark whether you are attending via Teamo:
- Saturday 4th February – 80s Apres Ski Night (Clubhouse)
- The best Apres Ski night in Upminster. 80s Apres Ski wear encouraged.
- Saturday 4th March – Musical Blue & BIngold (Clubhouse)
- Bingo but with a Musical twist.
- Saturday 1st April – End of Season Party (Clubhouse)
- As the season fixtures end all members are invited to come to end of season party
- Saturday 8th April – Easter 7s (Clubhouse outside on the Grass)
- All senior members are invited to play at our annual Easter 7s that take place back on the grass outside the Clubhouse
- Saturday 22nd April – Annual Dinner & Dance (Top Meadow Golf Club)
