It’s that time of year again where we launch the mini’s tour to Dymchurch and Folkestone.
This year the weekend we have planned is 19-21 June (hoping for some warm weather), venue will be New Beach Caravan Park again in Dymchurch with the hockey again taking place at Folkestone on the Saturday, 20 June.
I’ve been in touch with New Beach and they can accommodate us this weekend but they’re getting very full so we need to secure our vans quickly – and this year it will be once they’re gone they’re gone. We won’t be able to add any last minute attendees as we’ve been able to do in recent years.
So I don’t want to disappoint anyone, can you please let me know by return of email if you’re planning / would like to attend so I can get a rough idea for the viability of the weekend with the number of vans I need to book. I will then arrange this in the next couple of days and send the official launch email with details, costs, etc, and more importantly, our fancy dress theme 🙂
For those who have not been before, it is a travel down Friday evening for some drinks on Friday night, for hockey on the Saturday (further drinks Saturday night ) and then travel back Sunday. It will be an all in cost for the accommodation and hockey of around £250 (TBC) for a family. All within the family are welcome to come along, with hockey matches aimed at those from aged 6/7 through to 14. There will be lots of small sided (7 aside) games to keep the youngsters busy on the Saturday and maybe even a larger adult game to round the day off. We book a series of caravans for the family to stay in for the 2 nights and this is very flexible accommodation for anyone from 2 to 6 in a party.
