With the 2017/18 winter league coming to an end, we have decided to make a big change to the summer league’s we enter into this year. We’re going to launch our first ever intra-club mixed summer league.
We expect this to be a fun summer league open to all players 13 and above. We hope this will be a fun way to keep people playing and fit over the summer, without any of the hassle of travelling to all parts of Essex. Hopefully there will also be refreshments at pitch side for spectators to enjoy watching and soaking up the evening sunshine. The intra-club mixed summer league will take place between the 16th May to the 11th July. The games will be hosted at Coopers and will be between 6:45pm to 9:30pm on Wednesday evenings.
Hopefully a lot of you will want to come and take part and we’re hoping to get 8 teams out. All of the teams will compete in 40 minute games across 2 leagues. The top 2 teams in both leagues will then compete in the finals, hosted on Wednesday 11th July for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. It’s £40 for 8 games of hockey and will need to be paid upfront prior to the first game of the summer league in order for you to take part.
